    Overview

    PES was one of the implementing partners of WIDU, an initiative implemented across 6 countries in Africa that redirects existing remittances into sustainable investments for start-ups and small businesses.

    PES provided coaching and mentorship support including availing accountability tools to 150+ MSMEs across 10+ counties.

    Outcome

    PES coaches played an active role in verification and administration ensuring rules, regulations and procedures were followed. PES also provided business coaching to MSME entrepreneurs to assist them develop simple business plans and understand the budgeting process.
